“I couldn’t imagine being anything other than a hairdresser; I love getting to know new people and enhancing their natural beauty. The quote I’ve always lived by ‘The best hairdressers never stop learning.’
Amy started her hairdressing career at the tender age of just 15 “Quite honestly, at 15, I really didn’t know what I wanted to be, but when I started my apprenticeship I really found my passion for creating beautiful hair and seeing the self-confidence effect it had on people. I’ve now been in the industry for 11 years.” she explains.
“I’m a bit of an all-rounder - cutting and colouring, but I do love colour especially. My thing is beautiful, effortless natural-looking colour. Whilst I’ve worked with many colour brands (such as L’Oréal, Wella & Aveda) and completed various colour courses, I have always adored the art of cutting hair too -I passed my NVQ Level 2 and 3 and completed the Vidal Sassoon ABC cutting course. I always enjoy a relaxed hair conversation, so if you have any questions or want to discuss ideas, give us a call or come in and say hello.”
