It's something that often gets overlooked on the packing list, resulting in a sad, dry and neglected mane. Before you jet off on your hols this year, stock up on these must-have products to maintain luscious locks that defy the summer sun.
1. Keep that colour
Summer is the season when hair has to contend with its number one enemy: chlorine. It sucks out the moisture, breaks down molecules in coloured hair (especially redheads) and there's the dreaded blonde-gone-green look. Keeping your hair tied up when you take a dip will help, but you really should be shampooing your hair as soon as you get back to the hotel room to keep that colour from fading.
