“We deliver something uniquely special, something which you deserve!”
Heading up The Chapel Horsham is our beloved Mark Palmer, who’s been a part of The Chapel Islington since the day it opened in 2007, working his way up to the position of our passionate Director of London and now Horsham.
Having trained with two of UK’s most celebrated hairdressers; British Hairdresser of the Year, Charles Worthington, and fellow award-winner, the late, great Umberto Gianni, its unsurprising that our Horsham stylist Mark has spent the following decades at the top of his profession, and the peak of his game.
Working both sides of ‘the pond’ at both London and New York’s annual Fashion Weeks, cutting hair for catwalk models and finding time to fit in the odd fashion shoot for Vogue, are all styling experiences Mark has taken in his stride, and more importantly utilised to help him deliver the intimate one-to-one service from which perfectly tailored cuts for every type of guest are fashioned.
“My chief inspirations are fashion and music. My wife is a fashion designer, so I always have an insight into what's happening behind the scenes,” Mark explains, “and I always keep my eye for trends open at the gigs I still regularly play with my band around London.
“Since joining The Chapel, I've watched teams double in size and talent, and I’m truly proud to be part of such a forward-thinking salon. We’ve constantly found new and innovative ways to evolve our experience, and I can’t think of any other salon that delivers anything close to our unique experience.”
He continues “I couldn’t be more excited to start this new chapter in Horsham, I’m lucky to be part of the brilliant team alongside Hazel and Flora bringing their previous Chapel experience and it already feels like our newcomers Kylie and Fern have been with us always!
Horsham already has such a cosy and warm vibe about it, and I look forward to opening the doors to all; to meet our new neighbours and new guests alike.”
