At The Chapel, we love celebrating your individuality - from head to toe. With each of our stylists and guest relations team having their own unique style, it’s safe to say our team know their way around when it comes to clothes shopping. So, here you have their top four quirky London clothes shops where you can discover one-off beauties and new ways to express your inner sense of style.

Hub

With three stores in trendy Stoke Newington and one in the must-visit broadway market, Hub encapsulates the East London look perfectly. Their three stores (one for women, one for men and one unisex) holds a curated selection of up and coming brands - offering you the creme de la creme of new in-vogue styles and more out-there stylings. Whether you’re looking for chic minimalism or bolder look, you’re sure to find a capsule piece which fits the bill. This is a personal favourite of our resident fashionista Harriet.

BLITZ

It’s well known that Brick Lane is the mecca for all things vintage. Aside from its vibrant weekly market, it’s also home to some of the coolest vintage shops where you can find some real treasures from times gone by. One such place is Blitz, which is just off the infamous East London hub. Whether you’re looking for a demure 1950’s style dress or a crazy 1980’s ski jumpsuit you’re sure to find it in its depths. Alongside its one-off vintage pieces, you can also find a selection of hipster-tastic brands which will make sure you stand out from the crowd.

YMC

Known for their understated, timeless designs YMC (You Must Create) has gathered a dedicated following - with two stores in London, one in Seoul and South Korea. Scott adores their Poland Street shop, making sure he always stops by whenever he’s in London. Head here for easy-to-wear items which when pulled together always make a clean and stylish ensemble. Their attention detail and obsession with texture, colour print ensures that there’s always something which catches your eye at every visit.

Good Hood

Finally, we have Good Hood which proclaims that ‘it’s a lifestyle baby’. This uber-cool Shoreditch shop stocks men’s, women’s, beauty and grooming and homeware items - creating a whole ‘lifestyle’ as it tagline claims. Mixing some of the most well-known brands with lesser-known new designers makes for an eclectic and ever-evolving mix. Stop in for a general peruse and be sure to visit Origin Coffee just round the corner for the perfect flat white.

Whatever your style, we hope you love our recommendations as much as we do - who knows they might help you uncover a whole new side of your personality? Let us know if you visit any of them and keep an eye on our blog for more London tip-offs from our team.
